i demanded one last stop at ogunquit beach before leaving maine, assuming it would be just as beautiful as our first visit. we parked in an empty lot, across the wooden planks to the beach, but instead of seeing beautiful rolling waves, we saw sand. sand and sand and sand........ low tide.
i've never seen anything like it.
it was one of those moments where your jaw falls, and your eyes widen, and the whole world starts to slowly slur........
it, somehow, was even more magical than before.
the fog rolled and the people in the distance looked like one of those movies where people are rising from the dead, walking toward you... is that a thing? i swear it reminded me of that, but i have no frame of reference.
one of the most beautiful sights ever. ever, ever.
