i feel like i have a mommy-dom blog lately. sorry non-mom's. i just HAVE to do this one...
it's amazing how grateful you can be for certain products when your life is momentarily in chaos... here is my ode to our 3 favorite baby-saves.

3. aden + anais swaddle blanketsthese get better & better each time i wash them!
our little houdini outgrew (and busted out of) all other blankets. we were close to wrapping her in a twin size sheet. these are our happy solution... the problem isn't fixed, but it is delayed...
2. jj cole diaper caddyi have no idea why people need changing tables (no offence if you own one); we're not sure if this is genius because we have a little home, or if it's just genius because it's just... genius? we carry this thing from room to room and it makes me so happy. i love you little caddy.
1. car seat canopyi know you see these everywhere now... but it's the thing we get complimented on nearly everytime we leave the house! it's my most favorite baby product ever (next to wipes of course). it keeps elle warm, covered from bright lights when she's sleeping, wards off most creepy baby-peepers in public, and soothes terrors when you have a brand new baby out in public. eew. germs.

ReplyDeleteWe had a changing table, but I think most new moms just give in to buying what ever Babies R Us tells you that you need. Because honestly, it was just a waste of money when you only need a dresser and that cool caddy. ;)
I didn't even KNOW car seat canopy's EXISTED where were you when my babies were babies!!! Well all I know is that is a must have when we have another baby, we always used a blanket and it ALWAYS was a pain in the rear and falling down all the time, Thank you Amanda share all your little must have mommy secrets!!
ReplyDeleteI've never figured out why people have changing tables either - so much easier to just get on the floor with your changing mat...especially when they get super wiggly and can roll away. Love JJ Cole.
