easter weekend we went up north to spend the day with mike's family- an egg hunt & turkey fry (frying turkeys... yah, i'm still not so sure on that one, but it was a fun afternoon and food was involved so no complaints here:) elle adores being with her cousins so she spent the whole day playing. jude is still in stranger-danger mode, which by interpretation means "scared of anyone who is not his mother." sometimes it's a nice feeling. other times not as much:)

on an un-related note, elle is in shorts. this is the first non-skirtage in maybe 4 years! i know, i know, this is big! even bigger? they were her request. I KNOW!
