ta-daaaa! we're going to italy! we started out planning a 3 city trip, but settled on one due to time (and hopefully we'll do day trips around since it's a pretty short vacay)-- we're headed to rome in a few short months. after nearly collapsing (really, i was hyperventalating) at the thought of an 11 hour and 40 minute flight from rome to atlanta, mike convinced me that i'd always wanted to go, and would regret it later. that's what sleeping pills are for {or major tranquilizers}. plus, my grandma came over from sicily when she was younger, and her mother just died in rome a few years ago (family history?). that's pretty cultural in addition to the insanely beautiful & historical sights. all-in-all, we found a good deal, and off we go- ciao!!

Oh my goodness! I am SO jealous! Italy would be a blast to go and see, it looks so beautiful in pictures...so you better take a TON of them for me! :) That is so exciting! I am with you though, the flight doesn't sound appealing, but hey, it's Italy! So how long do you get to stay!? So excited!!!!

Wow that sounds so fun! I am jealous! Jonathan has said he refuses to travel to Europe with me EVER! Unless it is to see cycling of course! I think we should all get together with Christine soon!
